We caught up with the team to learn how ROQ equipment helps power the operation!

Can you tell us a little about your company: the name, where you’re located, some background story, and what kinds of niche you specialize in, if any?

"We are Visionz Designs. Established in 2024, the business was started by Wu Music Group in an effort to gain control of the company's merchandise production and distribution. We print, ship and manage Wu-Tang Clans online merch sales from our 32,000 sqft facility here in Irving Texas. Not exclusive to Wu-Tang, we’re looking to grow the Visionz Designs brand and have opened our doors to other clients who are looking for merch production and fulfillment." 

What ROQ equipment do you have?

2x ROQ P16 presses, a ROQ SAHARA T4518G Dryer, 2x ROQ FOLD, PACK, & LABEL machines.

Let’s dive into fulfillment: what attracted you to the ROQ FOLD, PACK, & LABEL fulfillment system?

"Finished products are stored and fulfilled from our facility. We use a robust WMS system to track inventory and fulfil online orders. Each item we produce is required to be barcoded for picking accuracy and location tracking. The ROQ FOLD, PACK & LABEL was a must for us to negate this as a lengthy manual process."

What made you decide to invest in not one, but two ROQ FOLD, PACK, and LABEL systems?

"2 presses requires 2 packing machines. We identified a bottle neck when purchasing equipment in that 1 packing machine would not keep up with 2 presses running at once."

What's changed the most in your fulfillment department since the installation?

"As we had these machines from the start, nothing has changed. But I know from past experience how difficult it is to track inventory without a strong barcoding and WMS system."

How has working with ROQ, from installation to ongoing support, been? Have you had to use your 3-Year ROQ-Solid warranty?

"Jen Shaw and Rob Welch were a huge help from start to finish, including floor plan layout, electrical/air requirements. Onsite installation and training was very thorough with a huge team of ROQ experts on site."

If another print shop asked whether investing in automated fulfillment was worth it, what would you tell them?

"If they’re running a large-scale fulfillment operation then I would 100% recommend this machine. Upgrade your fulfillment software and FOLD, BAG, and LABEL everything."

Have you noticed a difference in packaging consistency or shipping accuracy?

"We have a shipping accuracy of around 99% bagged and barcoded products eliminate incorrect picks from the warehouse."
