Impressions Dallas Isn't Just Another Trade Show This Year

If you caught the recent Shirt Show episode with Kayla, you've already heard some of the conversation around what's coming to Dallas.
But there's a bigger story.
For years, industry events have generally fallen into separate buckets.
You went to a trade show to see. You went to a class or Camp to learn. You went to a conference to think about the business.
Dallas is putting those experiences together.
More Than An EXPO - The Impressions Expo is still at the center. There will be equipment, suppliers, technology, products and people to meet. But there's now an entire experience happening around the show floor.
It starts Tuesday with MANIFEST, the new MADE Laboratory conference built for operators, owners, decorators, promotional-products distributors and entrepreneurs.
Then Wednesday turns toward fundamentals.
Thursday and Friday go deeper with advanced Camps. And throughout it all, there's the Expo.
WEDNESDAY: BUILD THE FOUNDATION
Screen Printing 101 follows the actual production process:
Artwork. Screens. Setup. Printing.
That's important because a faster press can't fix bad screens or broken workflow.
ROQ's Colton Moreno and MADE Laboratory's Kyle Caldwell take that thinking further with Automation 101 and Automation 102.
The first addresses the transition from manual printing to automatic production.
The second tackles the systems needed to make automation repeatable and profitable.
Setup procedures.
Darkroom consistency.
Training.
Quality control.
SOPs.
Because automation isn't simply about impressions per hour.
It's about building a production system capable of repeating good work.
THURSDAY: BUSINESS FIRST. PRODUCTION NEXT.
Thursday starts with economist Alex Chausovsky and a look at the forces affecting decorated apparel businesses. Then it's time to get hands-on.
WB Camp takes printers from art and print theory through screen making, ink mixing and finally production.
A ROQ automatic press will be part of that production education.
Printers can see how screens, ink, press settings, environment, curing and operator decisions interact when the job actually reaches an automatic.
Hearing how something works is useful.
Seeing those variables interact on press is different.
FRIDAY: DIFFERENTIATE.
Friday's Special FX Camp explores effects such as faux appliqué, puff and dimensional printing from artwork through production and profitability.
Other education explores heat transfers, AI, operations, workflow and KPIs.
Because the competitive advantage of a shop isn't one machine.
It's what that business knows how to do with its people, processes and equipment.
AND YES, THERE'S NEW ROQ TECHNOLOGY.
ROQ is partnering with Grimco in Dallas. You'll find the ROQ ID Press at Grimco Booth #537, right near the entrance.
And if screen-printing automation is part of your plans, don't limit your experience to looking at equipment. See the ROQ E working in the training area.
Then schedule a private ROQ demonstration outside conference class times.
Come to Manifest to think about the business.
Take 101 classes to build your foundation.
Take the Camps to advance your craft.
Walk the Expo to see what's next.
Then come talk to ROQ about putting it together.
That's why Dallas is more than another tradeshow this year.
